Jennifer Dahill - 2025 Worthing Law Society President

GWCA Solicitors are pleased to announce that one of their partners, Jennifer Dahill, has been elected as President of Worthing Law Society for 2025/2026.

The Worthing Law Society was established in 1920 as a professional organisation for Solicitors to provide general advice and support to its members. Steeped in tradition it remains the only professional body in Worthing that still holds an annual dinner. Given its traditional values, the Society has recently undergone a major change, in that it has widened its constitution to professional members to include not just Solicitors, but several bodies of professional lawyers, to include Legal Executives and Licensed Conveyancers.

Worthing Law Society also supports a charitable organisation every year, which each President elects, and this year for Jennifers term she has chosen Turning Tides charity, being a charity which is meaningful to Jennifer in both her professional role as a Conveyancer and for many personal reasons.

Started in 1991 by a group of Christians in Worthing, Turning Tides is now the biggest provider of services for single homeless people in West Sussex. They provide a warm, safe space to listen to anyone who comes to them for help. They provide real pathways out of homelessness and are committed to supporting people at every stage of their journey. Turning Tides

Jennifer is the fourth member of GWCA to take on the prestigious role of President. Past presidents include Tim Parsons (2009-2010), Emma Chatwell (2013-2014) and Christine Nestor (2021-2022). This is also a very special year for Jennifer as it marks 20 years since her mother, Jane Dahill was President. They are the first ever mother/daughter duo to each serve in the role.

Jennifer says “I am looking forward to the year ahead representing and championing Worthing Law Society and serving its members. I look forward to welcoming past and new members to the society and raising awareness and funds for Turning Tides in the process.”
