Conveyancing

Conveyancing is a complex process which often needs to be completed quickly. We provide a competitively priced conveyancing service for both buyer and seller. In addition to advising home-owners, we act for leaseholders, tenants and private landlords.

Contact us as soon as you have decided to find a new home, whether locally or further afield. When you decide to put your house on the market (or, as a first time-buyer, to find a home), we can make a start on the preliminary stages. We will always prepare an estimate of our fees and other legal expenses. Our service covers all types of home ownership transactions:

Leasehold/freehold property  Buying your freehold/extending your lease
Buying and selling  Buying your council house
Buying with a housing association  Shared ownership (e.g. unmarried couple, group of friends)
Holiday home  Moving into sheltered accommodation

The law governing domestic property transactions is complex , but we have the experience to act promptly and manage the conveyancing process so that delay and uncertainty are kept to a minimum.

Your transaction will be supervised by a partner or experienced member of staff who will answer your questions about the legal process and report on progress. We will manage your transaction, requesting, receiving and assessing information from your buyer/ seller and their solicitor, the estate agent, your mortgage provider, surveyor and local authority. We are on your side and will ensure your interests are protected and your enjoyment of your new home is not compromised.

Please note that Your home is at risk if you do not keep up payments on a mortgage or other loan secure on it.
